Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) to join our aviation team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for aviation and teaching, along with the ability to instruct students effectively.
Duties:
- Provide flight instruction to students in both classroom and aircraft settings, including spin training
- Follow and implement approved flight training curriculum
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
- Communicate effectively with students to ensure understanding of aviation concepts
- Demonstrate proper techniques and procedures - Instrument and Visual Flight Rules
- Utilize data analysis skills to track student performance and adjust instruction as needed
Experience:
- Must hold a Certified Flight Instructor Certificate that complies with 14 CFR Part 61.195 (h)(1) 24-month CFI
- Previous experience as a Flight Instructor preferred
- Strong organizational skills to maintain student records and lesson plans
- Ability to communicate effectively with students of diverse backgrounds
- Ability to communicate progress with management and clients
- Proficiency with Flight Circle
