Job Summary
The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires attention to detail and proficiency in various accounting software programs.
Duties
- Process invoices and expense reports
- Verify accuracy of billing data and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and perform check runs
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Maintain updated accounts payable records
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
Experience
- Proficiency in data entry and 10-key typing
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Kronos, Quicken, Workday, Sage
- Familiarity with double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Experience with payroll systems like Ceridian, Paychex is a plus
- Understanding of tax regulations related to accounts payable
