Join Our Team as an Employee Relations & Investigations Manager!
Salary: $88,200 - $90,000/year + bonus potential up to 20%
Location: Hybrid Role - Ashburn, Virginia
Are you passionate about creating a positive, engaged workplace and navigating complex employee relations challenges? We're looking for a dedicated Employee Relations & Investigations Manager to join our Support Center team! In this pivotal hybrid role, you'll work directly with the Vice President of People - Corporate, driving employee engagement, recognition, and compliance across the company.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead employee relations, recognition, and investigations programs, fostering trust and engagement across the organization.
- Conduct thorough workplace investigations, manage background screenings, and ensure work authorization compliance.
- Serve as the go-to expert on labor and employment laws, ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
- Drive employee engagement by managing recognition programs and tracking their impact.
- Address complex employee relations issues and support resolution in line with company standards and best practices.
- Partner with corporate managers on performance management initiatives, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Foster a diverse, empowered, and resilient team environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, labor relations, communications, or related field (Advanced degree a plus).
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in hospitality, food service, or related industries.
- Union experience and PHR certification preferred.
- Expertise in US employment laws (Canadian experience is a plus).
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management tools.
- Ability to travel up to 20% within the US and Canada.
