The easyJet holidays Strategy & Programmes team is at the heart of our rapid growth and value creation plan. Supporting the Holidays Management Board in answering the big strategic questions and determining where and how the company can create competitive advantage to drive shareholder value, and playing a central role in delivering strategic change initiatives.
We have created a new role for a Strategy Analyst to continue our rapid growth. Reporting into easyJet holidays Senior Strategy Manager, this role has a specific focus on building out our competitor and market intelligence as well as supporting and driving key strategic projects. It is a fundamental role in the easyJet holidays Strategy & Programmes team.
As our Strategy Analyst, you will conduct research on market trends, market sizes, competitive landscape etc, and build in-depth assessments of competitors and core markets that inform and update key stakeholders in collaborative, strategic decision making. You’ll be researching, maintaining and improving a database of commercially relevant information on our performance vs. key competitors, and supporting the Senior Strategy Analyst, Senior Strategy Manager and Head of Strategy & Programmes in delivery of corporate strategy projects.
Working with the rest of the Strategy and Programmes team, you’ll support strategic planning by preparing materials to support our annual five-year planning process, and you’ll source and effectively communicate intelligence and insights in defined areas that enable the business to explore areas where we aren’t currently maximising opportunities.
What You’ll Bring To The Team
We are looking for somebody with strong analytical skills and the ability to extract and condense relevant information from a range of sources. You’ll be somebody who sees the big picture – thinking broadly about the market we operate in and our competitive position.
We’d like you to have some experience of working in a professional environment (perhaps through internships, placement and/or work experience), as well as an interest or experience in the travel industry (or a similar sector). You’ll have strong quantitative and data modelling skills – including financial models, and experience analysing and assimilating large sources of information, conducting desk research and interviews.
This role might also suit somebody who has financial/ management accounting skills with the ability to understand and interpret financial statements and financial KPIs (e.g. having studied a finance & accounting module).

The role is full-time and based at our easyJet holidays HQ near Luton Airport. We operate a hybrid working model with three in-office days per week.
