Position Summary
The Manager of Aircraft Management is responsible for supporting the Vice President of Aircraft Management in the daily execution of operational tasks with a focus on aircraft owner satisfaction. This role serves as a key liaison between aircraft owners and internal teams, ensuring proactive and transparent communication, managing owner expectations, and coordinating all aspects of owner trips. This role plays a critical role in addressing and resolving any operational challenges or owner concerns, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for all aircraft owners.
Duties & Responsibilities

Maintain proactive and transparent communication with aircraft owners, ensuring that their needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.

Respond to all communications from aircraft owners within 24 hours.

Proactively manage and document owner preferences and expectations, ensuring that updates are made after each interaction.

Coordinate owner trips, including flights, ground transportation, and catering, ensuring all details are communicated within 48 hours of flight schedules.

Schedule and communicate both planned and unplanned maintenance events to aircraft owners, ensuring transparency and minimizing disruptions.

Provide a comprehensive planned maintenance schedule every 30 days to both the VP of Aircraft Management and aircraft owners.

Communicate detailed and accurate records related to aircraft operations, maintenance, and financial expenditures.

Provide timely and accurate financial reports to the VP of Aircraft Management and aircraft owners, ensuring all reports are delivered timely.

Maintain the highest degree of knowledge in the company's manuals, FAA regulations, letters of interpretations, and applicable laws

Be available on nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Some travel may be a requirement.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while in an office environment. The work is typically done while sitting at a desk or table. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee may spend time at the company’s aircraft hangar, where he/she will be subject to and exposed to an environment that is not temperature controlled and can be extremely loud. Experience & QualificationsThe most successful candidate in the position will meet most, if not all, of the following criteria.

Bachelor’s degree in aviation or related field

10+ years of Aircraft Management experience with a Part 135 operator

Expert level knowledge of FAA regulations as it pertains to flight operations aircraft maintenance

Working knowledge of OSHA and company requirements.

Knowledge of safe working techniques and procedures.

Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.

Effective leadership and interpersonal skills with an ability to supervise a team.

Advanced technical writing knowledge and experience within the aviation industry

Advanced skills with Microsoft Office and applicable suite of products

Fluency and knowledge of applicable industry specific-software tools, including FL3XX highly preferred
