Manager / Sr. Manager – International Sales
Job Description
- Evaluate and empanel GSAs (General Sales Agents) in new and potential international markets
- Constantly liaise and provide support to existing GSAs (General Sales Agents)
- Strategize, create and effectively manage all marketing and promotional campaigns to promote international sales
- Promote and manage IndiGo’s Charter business
- Effectively meet all Sales Targets for the region
- Monitor GSAs and support in negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing the sale
- Create process documents for the efficient working of all GSAs and ensure all process guidelines are met by regular internal audit checks
- Identify new markets and business opportunities
- Manage data for the region to monitor performance
- Gathering market and customer information and providing feedback on future buying trends
- Must possess strong vendor management and Intra-department relationship skills.
- To be able to handle multiple vendors effectively
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively at short notice
Requirements
Graduation or equivalent
10-12 Years of total experience in Sales
Successful experience of new business sales, particularly in international markets
Experience of developing and communicating a sales strategy
Sales and negotiation skills
The ability to build immediate rapport with a wide range of people and to develop successful business relationships
Market Intelligence and awareness of the competition’s products and activity
Planning and organization skills
A strong ability to self-motivate
A clear communication style with the ability to convey complex ideas within a limited time
Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection
The ability to travel at short notice
Aviation Experience Preferred
