The Role

As part of the APAC Commercial team, the Commercial Analytics Assistant Manager will be responsible for value-creation opportunities (e.g. price architecture, menu rationalization and range reviews).
Responsibilities
- Drive commercial activities (menu reviews, promotions) with analytics across Asia Pacific countries and communicate with the country Commercial Team for implementation at the units
- Cooperate with the APAC Finance Team and Global Commercial Team on tracking and quantifying the impact of commercial activities
- Monitor the performance of respective markets and suggest corrective measures where necessary
- Partake in the rollout of digital solutions to all markets
- Support data mining projects (for example, menu and recipe re-engineering)
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards, proactively communicate the outcomes with local teams and oversee the implementation of improvements
- Be a bridge between IT and business during the rollout of new solutions
- Support new unit menu planning as required by senior management
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analysis/Data Science/Statistics or related disciplines
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in FMCG and/or F&B (highly preferable) in an analytical position
- Strong interpersonal skills as working with people of different backgrounds and at all levels is part of the job
- Problem-solving and strong commercial awareness with a proactive attitude
- Ability to analyse data and make strategic business decisions based on the outcomes
- Advanced Excel and Presentation skills are required
- Knowledge of PowerBI, SQL and mobile ordering systems is preferred
- Excellent command of written and spoken English; fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus
