AOG Desk Buyer & Material Planner is an integral part of the Supply Chain Team to ensure the fleet of B787's remains serviceable, compliant and avoid delays or worse flight cancellations.
It’s a unique opportunity to join a strong and knowledgeable Supply Chain team as Norse continues to build its presence within the industry around the world.

The position will report to the Operational Supply Chain Manager.

Responsibilities and duties
- 24/7 365 Support of Engineering Operations
- Liaising with Engineering and Planning in Oslo
- React and support AOG situations by procuring aircraft spares and tooling requirements
- Responsible for the procurement of Spares, material or tooling to support inventory and engineering defects around the network
- Manage scheduled material requirements for planned maintenance
- Manage the logistical aspects of our orders and inventory movements with our freight forwarders
- React to AOG situations to resolve spares and tooling requirements
- Support aspects of our PBH and LRP contracts
Required qualifications and certifications
- Standard Education
- Computer literate
- Any qualifications beneficial to the position but not necessary
Required experience
- 2-3 Years' experience in Aerospace Supply Chain
- Experience in Purchasing and Material Planning
- Familiarity with Aerospace Technical Documentation
- Strong Commercial Acumen
- Strong problem solving skills
- Negotiation skills
- Ideally have a familiarity with AMOS or other MRO, ERP Systems
