About the role
In this role, you will be responsible to ensure delivery of project goals and milestones (based on the commitments, expectations and deliverables) agreed by Cargo Management for strategic projects assigned. You will also be responsible for aligning the strategic initiatives, both new and existing projects, that are assigned as part of our strategic journey.
As part of your role, your additional responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following:
- Lead development of initiatives for planning, designing and evaluating proposals related to digital strategic initiatives.
- Identify and review gaps in existing processes through engagement with the initiative leads for digital strategic initiatives.
- Manage relevant stakeholders for the initiatives to ensure project issues and risks are identified and brought to the attention of the steering committee / management team. The assessment must also include identifying interlinkages/dependencies with other cross functional initiatives to reduce overlaps and rework.
- Report and recommend to management on project risks, challenges, constraints whether pre, during or post implementation to ensure execution priorities are met.
- Responsible to ensure cross-functional requirements are communicated key stakeholders and project owners to ensure awareness of wider cargo developments and related projects.
- Lead coordination of stakeholders' analysis and change impact assessments through workshops and frequent interactions with key executive/process owner across the organization.
Qualifications
About you
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 6 years of job-related experience in leading large scale projects with global coverage
- Strong knowledge in process mapping
- Advanced PowerPoint presentation
- Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent spoken and written English skills with strong negotiation, persuasion and influencing capabilities
- Ability to work with cross-functional and multi-cultural teams at all levels in a faced-paced working environment
- Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational level
- Good understanding of change management
- Organized and structured person
- Critical thinking needs to be part of your mind-set
