Our client is looking for a QA Airworthiness Liaison to join them in Memphis on an initial 12-month contract. As the QA Airworthiness Liaison, you will monitor, review, and coordinate compliance of Airworthiness Directives (AD) and certain Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) applicable to aircraft structures, systems, instruments, components, appliances, engines, and auxiliary power units (APU).
Role: QA Airworthiness Liaison
Contract: 1 year contract, Part time contract
Location: Memphis
Responsibilities
- Provide daily monitoring, reviews, and compliance of all applicable ADs.
- Conducts audits on newly issued ADs, and reviews of previously accomplished ADs on aircraft and engines and appliances.
- Perform department self-audits as required
- Interpret ADs, Engineering, AMOC, OEM, Service Letters, Service Bulletins, Maintenance manuals, IPC, and wiring diagrams.
Requirements:
- Seven (7) years professional transport air carrier experience in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or Quality Assurance Planning involving large multi engine aircraft; experience in the inspection of transport category aircraft and maintenance documentation for airworthiness and regulatory concerns under FAR Part 121 and part 39 requirements.
- Experience interacting with the various levels of the FAA including the FSDO/CMO and ACO branches.
- Experience in using Microsoft excel, word, PowerPoint applications.
- Experience interpreting ADs, AMOCs, engineering documents, WIC, OEM specifications, FAA regulatory documents.
- Airframe and Powerplant certificate required.
- Fluent at speaking, reading, and writing in English language.
- Adept planning, analytical & communication skills.
- Strong Familiarization with 14CFR 121 and Part 39 requirements.
