Air Canada is seeking a Digital Analytics Manager to join the Digital Analytics team under the Data Architecture vertical expertise. The right candidate will be a professional who can work collaboratively with a team of developers, constructing custom analytics solutions for product and marketing professionals.
This role is responsible for equipping Air Canada with a strong stable architecture and tracking framework for user behavioral data on all our digital channels. Specifically, to generate data to be consumed for insights and stable quantitative information to equip the organization with the capability of measuring the impact of digital product changes with the goals of growing revenue, improving performance, and evolving our digital strategies.
This position will report to the Manager, Digital Analytics
- Supporting the Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics data roadmap at Air Canada.
- Ensure the ongoing efficacy of Adobe Analytics as an accurate, robust source of truth to measure performance and provide insights into our digital channels including website, mobile apps and in-flight applications.
- Supporting the enhancement of Air Canada data centric culture, ensuring team will continue to meet the evolving needs of business.
- Oversee data efficacy of custom and complex user behavior tracking within click-stream and personalization technologies, such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Adobe Target, Google Ad Manager and mobile CDPs.
Responsibilities:
- Transforming Business requirements and Key Performance Indicators into technical instructions along the organization digital tools. (Websites and apps)
- Maintaining Digital Analytics platforms on architectural settings to enable the tagging for native mobile apps and web applications.
- Ensuring accurate data collection quality by applying top market standard procedures.
- Fostering dashboards to corporate decision-making accountable (POs, PMs, Directors and related).
- Encouraging day to day training and ad-hoc usage needs from Digital Analytics tools, instilling a strong culture of self-service and ad-hoc analysis to make data-driven business decisions accessible.
- Identifying opportunities for decisive data collection to support business tactics.
- Providing recommendations to Product/IT partners on how to ensure correct digital analytics code implementation, experimentation, and general application performance.
- Supporting marketing and media strategies by providing key metrics from the online user interactions for audiences and targeting automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related computational field is required.
- Minimum 5 years of marketing and analytical experience related to digital/eCommerce required.
- Client-side development experience using HTML, JavaScript, JSON, CSS, RegEx, markdown strongly suggested.
- Exposure to analytics tools and terminology, data-layers, and tag management solutions for mobile applications and websites is required.
- Knowledge of digital marketing technology stack (CDPs, TMSs, Gits) is preferred.
- Must be strategic, dynamic, detail-oriented and impactful. The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker, a self-starter, quick and continuous learner.
