Who are we?
Reservation is the beating heart of Amadeus. Its scope: 30 applications (many backends, frontends, big data).
The public cloud migration of all these applications is ongoing, we are introducing new products on cloud-native stacks, and we continue supporting the legacy environments. All this raises a strong need for a transversal team.
Here we are the RES Engineering Experience team, belonging to REvolutionS SAFe Agile Release Train!
Our mission statement: we strive to fulfil the department transversal needs in supporting the cloud migration, improving the engineering experience, guiding the DevOps transformation, and supporting reliability for the reservation platform.
We are owning the CI/CD eco-system for the division, based on Wall-E and Bird workflows, the Forge which is the official tool hosting solution in Azure for Amadeus, and the RES Azure landing zones and OpenShift clusters as part of the delegation model.
