Description:The JR Investment Performance Analyst plays a critical role in Investment Accounting Group. The role is responsible for assisting in conducting daily/monthly performance reporting, management of monthly Private Equity cash flow reconciliation, assistance in the oversight of the custodian generation of monthly books & records based on a multi-asset class portfolio. In addition, the role will be responsible for assisting the Investment Accounting Group in new product launches, coordination of setup of new accounts, management and communications with auditors, working with Custodian’s, Fund Administrator, prime brokers and various other 3rd parities.
Key Responsibilities:
The role’s responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Performance - Monitor and support investment performance process
• Performance - Conduct weekly/monthly performance attribution analysis
• Conduct Monthly reconciliation of Private Equity & Real Estate Cashflows/Market Values.
• Monitoring and overseeing custodians for the Monthly Books and Records process including cash flows and valuations received by fund managers.
• Interact with Custodial banks, Fund Administrator, Internal Investment managers/traders, and Brokers as appropriate to research or investigate discrepancies between reporting systems.
• Process capital calls as directed or when needed. Ensured that distributions are received. Handle foreign currency transactions for capital calls and distributions if needed.
• Work with custodian to maintain Private I database. Conduct monthly audit to ensure cash flow accuracy in Private I.
• Validating PE/RE cash flow and valuation data on the LP Analyst platform.
• Monitor private equity cash account balances and process stock distributions.
• Assist in the preparation of private equity asset class performance analysis presentations to senior management.
• Compliance - Ensuring SOX Compliance for LMC’s Camp+ Process.
• Compliance – Manage and interact directly with 3rd Party Auditors for various Compliance requests.
• Compliance - Ensuring SOX Compliance for LMC’s Camp+ Process and support year-end audit.
• Investment Accounting – Participate in various projects as required.
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 7 years or more of related professional experience.
• Solid understanding of investment performance and analytics
• Working knowledge of institutional investing in various asset classes including, private equity, equity, fixed-income, commodities, hedge funds, real estate, etc. and familiarity with derivatives.
• Strong oral and written communications skills
• Ability to maintain professional relationship with internal/external personnel
• Attention to detail and ability to work on many different competing projects/prioritize.
Desired Skills:• Technology systems experience and familiarity with VBA, SQL, MATLAB, FactSet, Bloomberg, Imagine, and Barra
• Rich working experience of performance analysis
• Experience with trade order management and/or portfolio management systems for Listed and OTC Derivatives
• Ambitious, self-starter with an attention to detail
• Effective time management and communication skills with the ability to organize a workload with competing priorities
• Demonstrated persistence to see projects through completion and the ability to work independently and in a team environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
