Job Duties
Provides for the safe and effective transportation of corporate executives and other personnel to enhance their productivity. Provides executive travel flexibility and more efficient use of executive and managerial travel time. Provides time-critical transport of trunk line crews, maintenance parts, and personnel to field locations to ensure that FedEx cargo reaches its destination on schedule, thereby ensuring company profitability and public confidence in the FedEx service. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent operational/industry experience in corporate aviation. Current ATP certification without limitations. All certificates & ratings to be FAA issued.
Minimum Experience
1500 hours total fixed-wing, 1000 hours PIC in jet aircraft is preferred; multi-engine turbo-prop aircraft, 12,500 pounds or greater; certain single engine turbo-prop aircraft, or combination thereof.
A minimum of 500 hours PIC as described is required. Note: PIC is defined in accordance with FAR 1.1 and not as sole manipulator of the controls. Recency & type of experience is considered.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Strong interpersonal skills required.
Job Conditions
1st class medical certificate (obtained within the preceding 12 months). Must have 20/20 correctable vision.
Valid passport is required. Corporate aviation safety sensitive position. Subject to random alcohol & drug testing.
