Role Summary
The Administrative Assistant II role is responsible for providing administrative support for assigned Managing Director.
Key Duties
Provides administrative and scheduling support for assigned Managing Director (MD) as well as backup support for other executives, directors, and managers.
Compose correspondence and meeting minutes, process and code invoices and support and maintain site-specific and system wide administrative processes including maintain files and records.
Coordinates travel arrangements, retreats and special functions.
Prepares materials for meetings, compose and assemble agenda items, and communicate meeting information to attendees.
Coordinates calendars and schedules meetings and events.
Manages the vendor/visitor security area.
Provides budget coordination and monitoring.
Provides research assistance and logistical support for various departmental projects.
Orders and stocks all office and coffee supplies and provides backup support for ordering and stocking of janitorial supplies.
Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills
Required
A minimum of 2 years of administrative support experience.
Excellent communication skills (e.g., verbal, written, and listening), with ability to draft and prepare highly professional correspondence.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
A self-starter with solid problem-solving skills.
Possess excellent phone and follow up skills.
Possess a professional work ethic and an ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization.
Ability to maintain confidentiality in personal and business matters.
Detailed oriented and highly organized, with ability to multi-task and work independently with limited guidance in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum age of 18.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred
2 years of experience with Alaska Airlines and/or Horizon Air.
An Associate of Arts or an Associate of Science degree.
Familiarity with AAG’s corporate culture and structure.
Knowledge of airline ticketing.
Knowledge and experience working with cross-divisional teams.
Minimum typing speed of 50WPM.

Salary Range
$56,500 --- $79,100 / year
Salary Details
Pay will be based on multiple factors, including and not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal equity relative to other Alaska/Horizon employees. Alaska/Horizon is committed to fair, unbiased compensation along with competitive benefits in all locations in which we operate.
Note: We don’t typically hire at the top of the range.
