Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Helicopter Tour Pilot to lead our helicopter tour operations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional flying abilities, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Flight Operations: Conduct helicopter tours ensuring the highest safety standards and an exceptional experience for passengers.
- Leadership: Oversee and mentor a team of pilots, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Safety Management: Develop, implement, and maintain safety protocols and procedures in compliance with aviation regulations.
- Customer Experience: Ensure a memorable and enjoyable tour experience for all passengers, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintenance Coordination: Collaborate with maintenance personnel to ensure all aircraft are maintained in top condition.
- Operational Planning: Assist in planning and optimizing tour routes and schedules to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to local, state, and federal aviation regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1000 Hours TT | 50 Hours Turbine Time | Astar experince prefered
- Licensing: Valid Commercial Helicopter License with necessary ratings and endorsements.
- Safety Record: Exemplary safety record with a strong understanding of aviation safety protocols.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with passengers and team members.
- Leadership: Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing and mentoring a team of pilots.
- Customer Service: Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Preferred Skills
- Meets Chief Pilot of 135 operation requirements under 14 CFR §119.65(d) & 14 CFR §119.39(b)
- Familiarity with the local area and tour routes.
- Experience in tour operations or similar aviation sectors.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
