Position Title: UAS Pilot Integrator

Position Summary:
The UAS Integrator is responsible for integrating third-party systems and technologies with our company's drone-based systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. This position requires strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:

Integrate third-party systems and technologies with our company's drone-based systems, including sensors, software, and hardware components

Develop and maintain technical documentation for integrated systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration meets customer requirements and technical specifications

Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, working with internal teams and external vendors

Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure successful integration of their systems

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UAS integration

Participate in testing and validation of integrated systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Develop and maintain technical knowledge of UAS systems, including sensors, software, and hardware components
Requirements:
Qualifications: Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field; Master's degree or higher preferred
Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, system integration, or a related field

Strong technical expertise in programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java

Experience with UAS systems, sensors, and software components

Knowledge of regulatory requirements for UAS operations (e.g. FAA Part 107)

Familiarity with industry trends and emerging technologies in UAS integration
Skills:

Strong technical expertise in software development and system integration

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as Google Suite

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git)

Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot complex issues

Familiarity with cloud-based platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure)

Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for UAS systems

Certification in drone operations (e.g. FAA Part 107)
