Title: Base Manager/ Assistant Chief Instructor
Job Location: Kerrville, TX.
Direct Report of: Chief Flight Instructor
Job Description:
- Certifying each student's training record, graduation certificate, stage check and end-of-course test reports, and recommendation for course completion, when delegated by the Chief Instructor
- Ensuring that each certificated flight instructor, and certificated ground instructor passed an initial proficiency check prior to that instructor being assigned instructing duties in the school's approved training course, and thereafter that the instructor passes a recurrent proficiency check every 12 calendar months after the month in which the initial test was accomplished.
- Ensuring that each student accomplishes the required stage checks and end-of-course tests in accordance with the Academy’s approved training course
- Maintaining training techniques, procedures, and standards for the certificate holder that are acceptable to the Administrator
- Ensure Compliance within all programs, policies, and regulations
- Ensure TCO compliance and record keeping
- Helps to develop and refine TCO’s for better/ more efficient training
- Refine FOM and SOPs with the Standards Team
- Knowledge of FARs and compliance within the company
- Lead Standardization Department, and standardization programs for assigned base
- Works closely with Contracted Partners to ensure training and future business
- Build and maintain a strong team and team environment for the training base
- · Work with all departments within the company to ensure operational success
- Be available, per regulations, at all times
- Ensure Student success
Qualifications:
- Current FAA flight instructor and valid FAA medical for operations. CFI/CFII required. MEI preferred.
- Able to teach and mentor Leadership, teams and students
- Qualifies for Assistant Chief Instructor per 141.36
- Self-Motivated Leader
- Bachelor's degree or higher

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
