Overview:
We are currently seeking a Fueling Manager to join our team near Sanford, Florida. The Fueling Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the airport's aviation fueling operations. The Fueling Manager ensures the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of fuel to aircraft, collaborating with stakeholders to maintain high standards of service.
Duties:
- Oversee day-to-day aviation fueling operations, ensuring timely and accurate fueling of aircraft.
- Coordinate fueling activities to meet airline schedules and operational requirements.
- Uphold the highest safety standards in fueling operations.
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, environmental guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Lead and motivate a team of fueling personnel, providing guidance and training.
- Foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and efficiency within the fueling department.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure the delivery of high-quality aviation fuel.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of fueling equipment and procedures.
- Oversee the maintenance and servicing of fueling equipment, ensuring operational readiness.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to address equipment issues promptly.
- Manage fuel inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers to maintain an adequate supply.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize losses and optimize costs.
- Collaborate with airlines, fuel suppliers, and other stakeholders to optimize fueling processes.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns related to fueling operations.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans for fueling operations.
- Ensure the readiness of the fueling team to respond to emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED:
Computer, paperwork, fuel trucks, cones and barricades, fire extinguishers, spill response kits, devices and fueling control panel, static ground equipment, Safety gear, including high-visibility vests, gloves, safety glasses or goggles, and other PPE.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in aviation fueling operations, with demonstrated leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of aviation fueling regulations, safety protocols, and industry standards.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with fueling equipment and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic airport environment.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ability to operate fueling equipment and perform basic maintenance checks.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to pass Federal Fingerprint Background Check - the Federal Fingerprint Background Check is not limited to 7 years but checks your entire lifetime. Felonies will not be cleared.
- Ability to pass a 10 Panel Drug Test - The Full Panel Drug Test DOES include testing for THC. SAA is a drug-free workplace as regulated by the FAA.
- Favorable Moving Violation Report(MVR) - The Moving Violation Report Check is checking for a DL suspension, several moving violations, DUIs, etc. to your current employer until you are confirmed clear.
- At least 25 years old
EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED required.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
