Job Summary:We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Chief Flight Instructor (CFI) to lead our flight training programs. The CFI will oversee all aspects of our training, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, enhancing the curriculum, managing flight instructors, and maintaining a strong safety culture. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our pilots and requires a balance of leadership, aviation expertise, and a passion for teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective flight training curricula.
- Ensure all training activities comply with FAA regulations and safety standards.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate flight instructors.
- Monitor and support student progress, including implementing remedial training as needed.
- Manage flight and instructor scheduling for optimal efficiency.
- Oversee maintenance and readiness of training aircraft and simulators.
- Act as the primary liaison with aviation authorities and industry partners.
- Manage the flight school’s safety program, including conducting safety audits and meetings.
- Address student and instructor concerns, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Contribute to budgeting and financial planning for flight operations.
Requirements:
- FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument (CFII) ratings required; Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) rating preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Education, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of instructional experience in a flight school environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations, safety practices, and current aviation trends.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing training programs.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $4,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
